"I initially learned about iLUKA while I was working on the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and thought "I need to be part of this!" I managed to turn that vision into a reality when I joined iLUKA as a Programme Manager on the London 2012 Games, which was truly amazing! The things I learned and the experiences I had were second to none, but it was the people and the sense of being part of something bigger that makes iLUKA so special. The management team at iLUKA have created a unique and supportive environment that fosters growth and cultivates leaders. In 2016 I was lucky enough to be a part of Team iLUKA again, working with old friends and new across several clients for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and in 2018 & 2020 I hope to re-join my iLUKA family."

"I have freelanced for iLUKA since 2008. Starting as a Host at the Beijing Olympics, working as a Transport Team Assistant for MTV that eventuated in completing 6 MTV EMA award shows around Europe & Africa. I then worked as a Ticketing Manager at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Program Managed football games in London, hosted at the Australian Open in 2011 and Program Managed at the London Olympics. I have made lifelong friends and have had unforgettable experiences and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. 9 years later I still believe iLUKA has been the best company I have ever worked for and I look forward to more opportunities in the future. They are a well-oiled machine that strive for perfection and being a part of that is addictive & inspiring!"

"Rio 2016 was my first time working with iLUKA. I was acting as a Programme Manager for one of the biggest client programmes and responsible for planning and delivering the 'Experience' part of the project. Since the very beginning I felt hugely supported by the iLUKA team both in London head office and in Rio. Having previously worked for the Olympic Games I knew the ropes but inevitably every Games are a different species and this is probably both the most challenging and exciting bit. In these moments you realise how critical it is to have your colleagues with previous experience and the iLUKA Head office team being there for you ready to guide and help if necessary. During the delivery we all worked as a big united team independently of each other’s experience, job title or language and it was truly amazing. I was lucky enough to have an incredible team who put all their heart and hard work to deliver the mammoth programme to the great satisfaction of the client. Overall it was a steep learning curve for all of us but also immensely rewarding!"

"My incredible journey with iLUKA started at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the role of group coordinator for one of our Russian Clients. Since then I have become a part of the wonderful team of highly-professional, talented and energetic people and really enjoy working as part of this team. Being involved in the preparation and delivery of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games I learned a lot. Today I still work for iLUKA and our next event will be the World Cup in 2018 that will definitely be another exciting experience!"

"Working with iLUKA was the greatest challenge of my professional life. I was a Guest Communications Manager on a project during Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Being in charge of all Guest Communications for the program was a huge challenge, but I was lucky to have amazing support from all members of the iLUKA Team, both in Brazil and the London Head Office. The experiences we were able to deliver were inspiring for everyone, as well as working a multi-cultural environment I had the happiness of meeting great people, whom I'll carry as friends for the rest of my life, Embarking on this journey was the best professional decision I could have made, and I added a lot to my CV and my personal life"

"When I joined Team iLUKA as the Recruitment Manager for the Rio2016 Olympic Games I was so happy to get the job, but no one prepared me for what turned out to be one of the most amazing, memorable experiences in my life! For me, it was a huge responsibility as I was to recruit and select the staff who would be in charge of creating the experiences that would live forever for our clients and their guests. In every assessment centre we held, in every interview and in all the training we delivered I grew confident that we had hired the best people, had the best product and were working for the best company out there. There were very long and tiring days, but our people always stood up to the challenge and delivered their very best to every single client and guest with absolute professionalism and with a very personal touch. All while having a great experience themselves and, most importantly, having FUN while doing it. What an amazing team! I will always be grateful for such an amazing opportunity and for the life experiences we shared. "

"In the first few days of working for iLUKA I understood that I was stepping into a community as opposed to just taking a job. As a Transport Manager for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games I was faced with a lot of challenges, but I did so with the help of a great team, and the guidance of great mentors. iLUKA gave me the opportunity to run the biggest sponsor transportation program of the Olympic Games. I have gained the unique skill set of managing a big multicultural team while working under pressure. I have learnt to manage client expectations and to extend this sense of community to guests of the Olympic Games. I have laughed through sleepless nights and cried when it was all over. It was an experience of a lifetime which made me stronger, more knowledgeable and better prepared to face other challenges in life."

"Being part of Team iLUKA during the first Olympic Games in South America was one of the greatest experiences in my entire life. First of all, I met the best team ever, we became more than just colleagues, and we became good friends. Managers and leaders were also great people we felt we could rely on. Moreover, we, as hosts, made the dream of Olympic Games come true for each single guest in our programme."

"I was a part of the iLUKA team on the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games working as a Programme Manager on a client’s Hospitality Program. It was one of the brightest periods in my life. It was the period when my dreams came true. We had an amazing iLUKA team and I had the best Account Director I have ever worked with. It was a special pleasure to watch how the Host team enjoyed working on the program that we prepared so carefully. I was very happy to be part of this great project and now more than happy to be working with Team iLUKA again."

"I worked as a host with iLUKA for the London 2012 Olympic Games. I actually didn't really feel that I was working as I was enjoying every second of it. Whenever I talk about this experience, I always say it was by far the best thing that I have ever done. I consider myself so lucky to have been part of such an amazing journey. Even though we were working many hours a day, I was so sad when it came to an end. I had the chance to meet so many people and see the best athletes in the world performing at their best. Thank you iLUKA for this unique and rewarding opportunity."

"I am truly a lover of Sports and I take great pride in delivering the best customer service, especially when it provides the most amazing experiences. That´s why working for iLUKA on the 2014 Brazil World Cup and Rio 2016 Olympic Games was much more than just being a Host, It was a daily satisfaction and a personal accomplishment in a way that I could not have expected. It was hard work and long hours, but you do not realise that until it’s over, this is because during the journey, all the weight of responsibility and effort that we put into our Clients Programmes was all worth it for the smiles and thanks that we received from our guests. It might seem strange that I said “our clients & our Guests”, but that´s really what I meant. Working for iLUKA gives you such a big sense of belonging that we really feel part of the company and responsible for the people that we are serving. Thank you Team iLUKA to allow me to be part of the construction and delivery of these amazing experiences."

"Just incredible! I think that's the only word that can describe what I've experienced during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. My position was Assistant Program Manager and my responsibilities were linked to the experience of the participants and make sure everything was organized and in order, making sure no problems would happen, which went from documents to an incredible team of hosts. Deliver the best you can is always what iLUKA looks for, and that's what our incredible team did, from the managers to the hosts, we were all involved and worked together on the goal, and we achieved that with the incredible and amazing Team iLUKA support, always caring about us, if everything was ok, if everyone was happy, if overall we were on top of things, always! The event was a big challenge, working long and long hours and with lots of last time changes, for sure the biggest project I ever worked for, but also for sure the best experience I ever had in my life, which made me think in a different way in many aspects, which made me understand that dreams can come true and that the Olympic Spirit power is truly strong and special. Looking forward and excited for the next challenge. Thank you iLUKA!"

"Being part of the iLUKA team on the London 2012 Olympic Games as Airport Manager, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics Games and the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as Team and Ops Manager as well as 3 MTV awards in Berlin 2009, Madrid 2010 and Frankfurt 2012 were all fabulous experiences. The preparations were exciting and exhausting, the delivery exhilarating. I learned a lot from working with some very talented and bright people who inspired and supported me, together we overcame challenges, formed friendships and made memories."

"During the Rio 2016 Olympics I was a Programme Coordinator, my job was to assist on the planning and the execution of most of the clients programmes. Our goal was to deliver a truly amazing 24/7 experience to our guests. There was not one day like the other and the job required true versatility. I could estimate merchandise needs one day and sourcing and meeting with laundries the next day! Working on this type of event requires dedication and willingness to endure the looooooong hours, but the results and the fun times are definitely worth it! What's a better reward than actually attending an Olympic Opening Ceremony and to make lifelong friends? Working with iLUKA was both challenging and exciting, and, it is by far, my best working experience so far in my young career! I got to meet so many interesting individual from various professional backgrounds and cultures that it actually goes beyond just work, it was an amazing life experience. I can only be grateful for the opportunity! Thank you iLUKA! "

"Working with iLUKA as a Host at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 was an amazing experience for so many reasons. At no point did it really feel like work as I was enjoying myself so much. I got to meet new and interesting people daily (even the odd celebrity) and watch live sport - a win-win for me! As Hosts we would try to ensure that the guests under our care were looked after from the moment they arrived in Glasgow (collecting them from the airport/train station) until the moment they left. We provided exceptional customer service, always with smiles on our faces. We had long working hours during the Games, but the early mornings and late nights didn't faze us. This was partially because we had such a great team of Hosts from all backgrounds who gelled from day one and supported each other throughout the two weeks. We also had a great support team from iLUKA who trained us up and helped us throughout."
